Sometimes it happens that….

Yes, exactly, sometimes it happens that you start doing things that you have never done before. That marry with your principles but that find value in considerations but above all in pursuing a founding purpose. Does it seem complicated? In a certain sense, yes. And also apparently contradictory. Now I will tell you how it happened.
It happened one day at the beginning of this year that I received a message. This message would normally have received a no, but instead it made me think. And think quickly too.
With this message he informs me that he has seen my social media and the site and…. here is the thing that usually would have received a no for an answer… he asks me if I modify a fur coat.
And immediately he tells me that it is for his daughter, that it is a memory of her grandmother. And here comes the first reason that led me to say yes instead of no. You should know that I am sensitive to the subject of grandmother and specifically memory of grandmother. I lost mine when I was 20 and it was a catastrophe, it was the reference of my days, my companion of adventures and one of the great loves of my life. How could I say no!
Lightning and founding thought it was about dead animals, I love all animals of any kind I.. except mosquitoes I have to admit.. I am against furs for all the horrible things that are tied to them. It is true that just because they are dead what should I do, add insult to abomination? Let us honor those poor innocent souls sacrificed to female vanity and give them if not new life at least a prolonged use in the name of love and memory. And then if I reuse, and I do not waste even a little piece I avoid going to V to buy a new fur and they are also the cause of the increase in these horrible massacres. As reuse to create new clothes and jewelry in this perspective even occasional furs can be there. And at the base there is the memory and the gift left as a legacy to move all these considerations.
I answer yes to the message.
And from a lady's marmot fur coat comes out a short and jaunty fur coat for a chilly niece. And from the extra hem, which I would never ever throw away I made a scarf.
Now you should know, and those who have known me for a long time know it, that I love to personalize the garments I create because at the center there is always the person. And people are wonderfully unique and unrepeatable as well as changeable in their time. Something discreet was needed. The girl is tender and delicate and I am minimal.
A border. Quick consultation with the mother and the choice of sheep very suitable and unanimous. This is how it sometimes happens that.
