Discover me.

Updated: Feb 14

My name is Elisabetta Gaboardi and I am an Italian designer. I live and work in Brescia.

I currently create handmade jewelry and dolls, each one unique. I'm in a transitional and evolving phase in my life; for personal and family reasons, I'm developing the artistic rather than the sartorial aspect of my work. Previously, I founded and managed my own small, deliberately small, but deeply appreciated independent fashion house, Jenny Couture, and its brands. I love art, culture, and folklore. I have a social spirit and also founded the nonprofit organization Ortica Bianca Onlus. At 5:00 pm, I have a ritual: I drink a good cup of tea. I have Celtic and Gypsy origins. Nice to meet you, thank you for joining my world.

I want to tell you my story so we can get to know each other, and then leave it to time to create our own, as has happened many times in the past with all my clients.

You will read about my past, my present, my dreams, and my future. You will discover my work, the materials I love, my inspirations, and everything that fills my life.

You will discover and observe, because images play a fundamental role in my way of expressing myself, as do words, spoken and written.

I hope you will return to visit me often, and I hope I can always satisfy your desires.

My atelier has always been frequented by artists, interns, friends, and clients. Here, where everything follows the free canons of creativity, people, their dreams, and their very personal way of being, are at the center of everything. My creativity expands and experiments, researches and deepens, makes enormous turns and returns, opens itself to new things and emotions, but at the center of it all is always the essence that characterizes the person. Everything moves in respect of this founding element.

One aspect that has always made it special—very special, actually—as a studio is having both human and fictional clients; the role-playing game and cosplay characters my clients portray. RPG and fantasy characters have a defining history, an era, a past, and a future yet to be played, but all of this requires a wardrobe, or at least clothing, to be worn. From the client who brings them to life, who in real life, however, has a completely different style. Both are my clients. It's strange, I know, but it's true.

Cosplaying is a fascinating job. To create the characters' costumes, we work together, dividing the tasks, until we achieve an exact replica of the character they portray.

Then there's the custom-made clothing, so different from my creations and collections, but in both cases the satisfaction is always high, and the finished work is a thrilling success. Seeing this, and the emotion and satisfaction in my clients' eyes, is my greatest reward. My work is varied and allows me to fully express myself, making wedding dresses, clothing of various styles, costumes for performances and play, jewelry and dolls, handmade socks, bags, and accessories. I also create the style of the people who rely on me for stage work or other work, to help them feel better, regain self-esteem and confidence, and express themselves. Alongside all this, I offer sewing, knitting, and tailoring classes, as well as a wide and varied repertoire of artistic and creative craft workshops and workshops for children.
